Danny Ringer officiating. Visitation and viewing will be Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. James H. Dixon was born April 13, 1952 at Magazine, AR and passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the age of 56. He has lived in Elk City most all of his life and was loved and will be missed. He was a mechanic by trade. Survivors include 2 children. J.C. Dixon of Lawton, OK and Louise Dixon Guthrie of Fayetteville, AR; 2 grandchildren, a sister Marilyn Morris of Ft. Smith, AR and a brother, Tommy Maddox of Mulddrow, OK. Darrell DeWayne Dixon was born July 10, 1990 at Elk City and passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the age of 18. He attended Elk City School and was in training with the Black Kettle Fire Department of Cheyenne. Survivors include his mother: Judy Russell of Elk City; a sister Louise Dixon Guthrie of Fayetteville, AR, 2 brothers, J.C. Dioxon of Lawton, OK and Matthew Carey of Elk City, maternal grandfather, Johnny Leroy Carey of Oklahoma City, OK and maternal great grandmother, Hallie Carey of Cheyennee.
