Burial will be at Brookside under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Home. Orville Bartz was born September 7, 1906 to Regina and Ernest Charles Bartz and died Friday April 18, 2008 at the age of 101. Orville grew up in and around the Sunny Point community. He was married to Nora Elenor Blansccet on February 13, 1930. After their marriage they moved to Riverside where he worked for Sunkist picking fruit in the orchards. In 1952 Orville was employed by Corona - Clipper Co. where he worked as a machinist for 28 years until his retirement in 1980 After Nora's death in 1994 he was to Evie Jo Maloney in May of 1998. Orville was active in the Jehovah's Witness. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Nora Bartz, three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Evie of the home; two daughters, Orvalene Nation and husband, Edsel of Sayre,, Lanita Otta and husband, Ken of Riverside, California; one son, Ernie Bartz and wife, Dora of Sayre; nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives aand friends.
