White was born January 5, 1947, in Sayre to Amanda Mae and Thomas Hue Bailey. She passed away December 31, 2008 at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 26 days. Sadie attended school in Sayre and was married to Butch White at Cheyenne on January 25. 1965. They lived in Cheyenne and Sweetwater before moving to Sayre to make their home. Sadie loved making dolls, working with ceramics and crocheting. She was a member of the Sayre Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Billey Hue Bailey. Survived by her husband, Butch White, of the home; one daughter, LaWanda Maupin and husband, Damron, Sayre; one sister, Betty Jean Sloan, Talihina, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held Friday, January 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Rose Chapel officiatedd by Matt Richardson.
