LeeRoy Musick, Cheyenne officiating. Funeral services were held this morning at the First Baptist Church in Lefors, Texs, with Rev. Chris Webb, pastor, officiating. Mr. Musick died Monday, December 1, 2008, in Pampa, Texas. He was born March 26, 1960, in Shattuck and had attended school in Clinton, both in Oklahoma, as well as at White Deere, Texas. He was a plumber and later became a pipefitter journeyman. He would put in a hard day's work to help a person in need. He was always there for the people who needed him. He was your smile when he walked in. Arrangements are under the direction of the Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa, Texas. Survivors include his father, Bobby Musick, of Lefors, Texas; his mother, Bonita Musick, of Lefors, Texas; a brother, Darwin Musick, of Monticello, Ark.; two sisters, Kathy Tinney and husband, Don, and Pam Franks, and husband, Steve, all of Lefors, Texas; two grandmothers, Mary Mussick, of Hobart, Oklahoma, and Ruth Canaday, of Lefors, Texas; nieces and nephews, Johnathon Tinney, Jonelle Combs, and husband, Tad, Dustin Musick, Carie Johnson, and husband, Mark Devan Franks, Brook Franks and Madison Franks. Gene was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carl Musick and Darvin Canaday, and his grandmother, Jessie Musick Hubbard. Clinton(Okla.)
