Beam died Monday, March 24, 2008 in Sayre. He was born on July 25, 1964, in Clinton, the son of Ella Mae Purdue. He had lived in Sayre all of his life, attending school there and was employed for a number of years by the City of Sayre Water Department. Arrangements are under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home in Sayre. Survivors include two sons, Nick Beam of Foss, and Cory Beam of Hawaii; a daughter, Chawncy Beam of Sayre; five brothers; and one sister.
