Sisney age 82, of Leedey, Oklahoma, formerly of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 3, 2008, in Bell Avenue Nursing Center, Elk City, Oklahoma. She was born April 5, 1925, in Hailey, Missouri, the daugher of Joseph and Anna (Cooper) Skelton. On July 3, 1945, she was united in marriage to Loy Sisney, who preceded her in death on June 7, 1991. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Peggy Syndder, one granddaughter, Stacy Lynn Synder and five brothers, Orville, Cecil, John, George, and Doandl Glen. She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Kauk and her hussband, Enos of Leedey, Oklahoma; one son-in-law, Glen Synder of Kirsville, Missouri; four grandchildren, Randy Kauk and his wife, Dru of Red Oak, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Bennett and her husband Rocky of McLoth, Kansass, Robin Harrel and her husband, Cody of Leedey, Oklahoma and Calvin Snyder and Missy of Kirksville, Misssouri; seven great grandchildren, Asher, Reed, ASlec, Kourtney, Sierra, Jacob and Maddie; three sisters-in-law, Joree Skelton, Dorothy Woolley and Joyce Sisney and many devoted nieces, nepheews and cousins. Thelma received heer education in Barry County. She spent most of her afult life in Southeast Colorado, moving back to Barry County in 1984. After the death of her husband she spent five years in Kirkville with her daughter, Peggy, who passsed aweay in 1996. She then made her home in Leedey, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a loving and devoted wife, mother aand grandmother. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008 in Mineral Springs Cemetery, Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
