Tamara and Wade bought their first house outside of Blackwwell on five acres that became known as "Camp George". Tamaara tried to find homes for all animals that "found" their way to camp, so it was not unusual to have 5 or 6 cats and 3 or 4 dogs waiting for a home. From time to time, pets and orphans including squirrels, raccoons, birdss, snakes, goats, owls, etc. woul! d up being cared for in the house, and she loved them all. She always followed up and would call her clients to see how their pet and they were doing. In 1998, Evan Tyler George came into her life and Tamara always said he was the best gift that Gods had ever given her. Tamara was always giving to others but found herself having to lean on others when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2002. She survived chemotherapy and radiation but never fully recovered from insomia, and sleep apnea. She lost the last battle wit the flu, bronchitis and penumonia. Her hobbiesd included crafts, cross stiching, making necklaces and wrist bands, origami and reading mysteries.
