She passed away March 9, 2008 at Wheeler, Texas at the age of 87 years, six months and 21 days. She was married to Lee A. Taylor at Sayre on August 23, 1937. Lee passed away in 1983 and she moved to Wheeler in 1987. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a great-grandson; three sisters; and three brothers. Survivors include daughter Carolyn (Taylor) Davis and husband Melvin of Sweetwater; sons Don L. Taylor and wife Karen of Anchorage, Alaska; and Ron Taylor and wife Pam of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren;; 12 great grandchildren; sisters Clara Shirley of Spokane, Washington; and Oneta Wood of San Benito, Texas; and a special caregiver Amy Hunt. Services were today at 2 p.m. at Rose Chapel officiated by Ed Wrather. Burial followed at Mulberry Cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
