He passed away July 28, 1963, in an Elk City hospital after almost 7 years of illness. He was married to Ola Burckhalter, November 11, 1923. He was a member of the Church of Christ, served on the Berlin School board 9 years and various county agriculture committeesx for a number of years. He was always ready to give of his labor and means to help with the building of the community and those of misfortune. He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant grandchild. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife of Berlin, children, G. Harrington and Mrs. Darrell Mackey both of Sayre and Mrs. Leon Stagg of Tulsa; 4 brothers, and 5 sisters, Jess, Harley and Marvin Harrington and Mrs. Elmer McCraw, all of the Berlin community, Pearl Veazey, Shamrock, Texas, Ann Mundell, Pasedent, Calif., Mary Lou Youker, Antioch, Calif., Ida Tarver of Anadarko, Okla., Ernest Harrington of Grants Pass, Oregon, eight grandchildren and a host of friends.
