Surnames: Wells Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5YB.2ACE/2967 Message Board Post: Parthnie Wells, an old and highly respected christian lady, living five miles notheast of Rankin, died April 12, 1907 at the home of her son William Wells, of heart failure and infirmaties due to old age. Mrs. Wells was born in Bath county, Kantucky, July 22, 1825. She was united in marriage to Reboert Wells nine children were born to bless their union, eight of whoma re left to mourn her death. She united with the Christian church in 1871 and lived a consistent member of the same until it pleased the Lord to call her home, she had lived to do his bidding and was only waiting when the summon came. The funeral service was conducted by the Eshorter A.L. Druce, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Rankin cemetery. (White Rose Cemetery), Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
