Chandler, retired Reydon farmer who died suddenly at his home Monday were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Reydon community building. Elder Kenneth Martin and Elder .M. Cunnings officiated. Born May 24, 1881 in Georgia Mr. Chandler came to western Oklahoma in 1902 and homesteaded near Reydon. He was married to Lucy Beatty at Rankin in 1906. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Erick. He was preceded in death by one daughter, two sisters, and three brothers. Survivors include his wife of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Cordell, Oklahoma city, Mrs. Lorene Park, Reydon and Mrs. Dorothy Colbert, Midwest City; five sons, Robert of Wichita, Kansas, Amos and J.M. Jr. of Midwest City, Leland of Reydon and Winston of Oklahoma City; 22 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; two brothers, Cecil of Pampa, Texas and Louis of Pampa, Texcas, Sarah Herring of Canidian, Texas.
