Prestridge, Cheyenne, died Friday May 20, 1968, in the Sayre hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Monday, May 13, 1968 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Cheyenne, with Rev. Robert Webb officiating. Born December 10, 1891, Mrs. Prestridge married U.M. Prestridge in Cheyenne and came to Cheyenne in 1917 from Oklahoma City. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, 51 years. Survivors are her husband of the home; one daughter, Marjorie P. Emanuel, El Reno; two sons, George W. of Cheyenne, and Jefferson B. of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, John Daugherty; one sister, Clara Dearing. Pall bearers were: Glen Tracy, Leland Burns, Hub Braadshaw, William L. Chalfant, Lee Roark, A.F. Beaty. Honorary pallbearers were: L.L. Males, Fred Cordell, Dean Cross, Donovan Wesner, Eddie Lee McDaniel, and Ray Kendall. Interment was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Scroggins and Son Funeral Home. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
