He died April 5, 1962 at Cheyenne, following a two weeks illness. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and one sister, Mrs. Joe Payne of Cheyenne and a host of nieces and nephews. Serivces were held for Mr. Ogle in the Baptist church in Cheyenne. Committal was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under direction of Scroggins and Son.
