Mangold, better known as "Ott" was born near Kerrville, Texas, July 21, 1884. He came to the "Eller Flat" which was named for his grandfather Uncle Charley Eller, northwest of Durham, Oklahoma in 1892. He married Flossie Keller of Cheyenne, Oklahoma November 2, 1912. Born to this union were two sons and two daughters. They are Mrs. Mary Joe Marshall, Tucson, Arizona, Mrs. Floy Jean Christopher, New York, N.Y., charles Otto Mangold, Jr., Pampa, Texas and George Washington Mangold who preceded him in death in 1923. Ott spent most of his married life in Durham. he moved to Reydon May 30, 1929 when Reydon was being built. He moved to Clinton in 1935 and to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1956. He was living in Elk City at the time of his death April 13, 1961. He is survived by his wife, Flossie who is in the Convalescent hosital in Cheyenne, his two daughters and one son.
