Keller, pioneer farmer of the Durham community, were held Tuesday afternoon in the community building there. Rev. Sanford Cole of Canadian, Texas and Rev. W. S. Little of Reydon had charge of the services. Committal was in the Fairview cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under direction of Scroggins. Mr. Keller died March 27, 1959. He was born March 17, 1878 in Denton, Texas. He came to Oklahoma in 1892 and resided in the Durham community since he homesteaded about 1900. He had been engaged in farming all of his life. He had been a member of the Methodist church for many years. On November 25, 1901 he was married to Nannie Wylie in Dallas, Texas. To this union seven children were born, who with the wife and mother, survive and all were present for the services. They are Winnie Estes, Oklahoma city; Vernona Cole, Canadian, Texas; Virginia Montgomery, Durham; Sarah Newton, Canadian, Texas; Ruby Montgomery, Meridian, California; Jeanne Baker, Beaver; and Perry Keller of amarillo, Texas. Two sisters, Opal White of Edmonds, Washington and Flossie Mangold, Pampa, Texas survive. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
