He passed away October 16, 1969 at the Cheyenne hospital. He was born May 23, 1907 in Reydon, Oklahoma. He had an extended illness. He married Opal Lane August 18, 1928. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Opal, of the home; one daughter, Jana Kay Holley, Reydon; four sons, Billye Lester, Donnie and Ronnie, of Amarillo; 14 grandchildren; four brothers, Bill, Clifford, Jack and Raymond all of Reydon; one sister Goldie Ingerson, of Reydon. Pallbearers were Bryan Berry, Clyde Tice, Troy Garver, Dave Jackson, Carl Pierce, Carl Parman. Interment was in the White Rose cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Home of Sayre. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
