Hollis Press officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulberry Cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral service of Sayre. Charels Mathew Hardy was born Feburary 14, 1925 in Sweetwater to Nora Alice and John E. Hardy and died Saturday in Copper, Texas at the age of 77. He was married to Nell aAlexander January 26, 1946. They made their home in Copper for 18 years. Charles served his country during World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a gunner and aircraft mechanic. He was preceded in death by his one brother, Ellis Hardy and one sister, Zella Mae Miller. He was a mber of the Faith Baptist Church and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Nell Hardy of the home; one son, Charles W. Hardy of LaPorte, Texas; two daughters, Joy Woodall of Copper, Texas,Cindy Buckelew of Artesia, New Mexico; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
