Surnames: Reese Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5YB.2ACE/6804 Message Board Post: During the storm Sunday night, July 2, 1906 lightning struck the residence of Thomas Reese, 1 and 1/2 miles northeast of Berlin, instantly killing his son, Wear and injuring the father severely, also another son was severely burned about the feet and lower limbs. The two boys were sleeping near a chimney upstairs. The one killed was next to the wall and was thrown over the other boy onto the floor some six feet from the bed.
