Vonnie Lee "Bitsy" Mesa-Yell was born March 7, 1937 Farwell, Texas to Bill and Zada Yell and died Thursday, April 27, 2006 in New Mexico at the age of 69. Bitsy lived in the Sweetwater community in thea late 1940's and 1950's. She later lived in Oklahoma City before moving to Fairview, New Mexico to make her home. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Leon Yell. Survivors include six childdren, Sherry Maestas and husband, Edward of Fairview, New Mexico, Debbie Foster of Chicago, Illinois, Bobby Reeves and wife, Lisa of Friendswood, Texas, Lonnie Joe Martin of Lake Havasu, Arizona, Jimmy Henderson of Hammon, Oklahoma and Donald Leach and wife Brandi of Hammon, Oklahoma; one brotheer, William "Buck" Yell and wife, Oplal of Farwell, Texas and Joe Yell of Shamrock, Texas; one sister, Judy Foster of Locust Grove; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
