She graduated from Crawford High School, Crawford, Oklahoma in 1968 and went on to attend SWOSU at Weatherford where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business. Carla was married to Stanley Max Compton on November 1, 1974 in Weatherford, OK. She was Office Manager at Clallam Transit System from 1995-2006. Where in 2000 she received employee of the Year, she loved her job. Carlaw loved her home, cats and loved to read and play black jack. Most of all she loved her family and friends. She is survived by husband, Stanledy M. Compton, of the home in Port Angeles, WA; her mother, Betty Hanawalt of Cheyenne, OK; three sisters, Jalene (Kendall) and husband Austin Parkhurst, Gentry, AK, Ginger (Kendall) and husband Rodney Pope, Sayre, OK, and Kimberly (Kendall) and her husband Clay Rogers, Navada, MO; two brothers, Kenneth Neal Kendall of Cheyenne, OK and Roger and Judeith of Melburn, Australia.
