Mrs. Redden died very suddenly in her home last Saturday from a cerebral hemorrhage. Appparently she was in perfect health until thirty minutes before her death when she was stricken. She leaves her husband and four small children. Gene's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Redden, C.H. Redden and family and Joe Redden and family of Cheyenne left immediately for Pryor after receiving word of her passing. Mrs. Redden, Janet, as she was known in Cheyenne, resided in this city for some time while her husband was in the service. She was a member and active worker in the Methodist church. She possessed an unusual ability to sing and enjoyed singing in the memory of her friends in Cheyenne. She was approximately 28 years of age. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK 6-Sep-1951
