Potts of Cheyenne died at her home in this city Friday, December 4th, 1948 at the age of 17 years, 11 months and 18 days. She had been an invalid since infancy. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Church of Christ in Cheyenne with Rev. Roy Ruckman of Hammon delivering the funeral serman. Burial was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Scroggins Funeral Home. Survivors include her parents Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Potts of Cheyenne, two brothers, Stanley Potts, Cheyenne and Eskell Potts of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and two sisters, Mrs. W.W. Shelton of Hammon and Lorena Potts of Cheyenne. Pall bearers were Houston Turner, Newt Turner, Eldridge Calvert and Scott Steere. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK 12-30-1948
