At the age of twelve years she was united with the Baptist church. She was a loyal Christian and devoted mother, and was loved by all who knews her. On October 2, 1904 at Tessa, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to John Stewart. To this union eight children were born, all of whom survive. They are: Jimmie Stewart, Celborne, Texas; Tom Stewart, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Clyde and Johnny Stewart, Hammon; Mrs. Clellia Schroer, Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Allie Smith, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Mrs. Dessie Mae Webb and Mrs. Cleo Taylor, Hammon, Oklahoma. She is also survived by Mr. Stewart; eleven grandchldren; four sisters, Winnie White, Wellington, Texas, Mrs. Clellia Jones, Amarillo, Texas; Mrs. Sadie Franks, Amarillo, Texas; Mrs. Lucille Perryman, Hereford, Texas; and three brothers, Chester Lowry, Hereford, Texas; Ernest Lowry, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, and Howard Lowry, Amarillo, Texas.
