Mr. J.F. Robertson and Mary E. Lewark were married October 28, 1881 in Grundy Centre Iowa in the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Robertson was baptized into the primitive Baptist church when just a girl and lived a life of service to others being a splendid nurse for years and saving many lives through her knowledge of medicine. Until her later years she was active in church and Sunday school. She had a host of friends in all the different places where she had lived. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, J.F. Robertson, her daughter, Mrs. Cleve Payn,e six grandchildren and four great grand children. Her four grandsons carried her casket to its final resting place. The services were held Sunday morning at eleven o'clock at the Baptist church. Bro. Bradley preached a fine sermon using as a text Mrs. Robertson's favorite verse of scripture, "His Lord said unto him! , well done thou good and faithful servant, thou good and faithful servant, thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy Lord". Mrs. Tunnard sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere". Mrs. Robertson was born in Madison County, Indiana and lived in seven different states leaving loving friends in many communities. She just laid down her liffe work here and went home to dwell with her loved ones who have gone before. She has gone to join her Savior Over on the other shore But she leaves loving memories In our hearts forevermore. (Cheyenne Star Nov 12, 1931)
