Maude Jones was united in marriage December 13, 1891 to Ham Harbor Aderhold at Perdon, Texas. To this union 6 children were born. Mrs. Aderhold and her husband and family moved to a farm east of Roll, Oklahoma October 3, 1905 from Coalgate, Oklahoma where they lived until a short time before her husband preceded her in death March 4, 1949, since that time "Granny" has lived with her children. Mrs. Aderhold was converted and united with the Baptist church at Ashland, Oklahoma in 1901. When she and Mr. Aderhold moved to the Breezy Meadow community they united with the Baptist church there and have been faithful members these 45 years. Mrs. Aderhold, known to her family and friends as "Granny," was a good mother and a wonderful neighbor. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lester McClellan, Strong City; Mrs. Emmit McClellan, Elk City; Mrs. Jim Sing, Strong City; two sons, Fred Aderhold, Strong City and Walter Aderhold, Crawford; three brothers, Bruce and Sam Jones, Reydon, Okla.; Rhett Jones, Plainview, Texas; four sisters Mrs. Cora Woods and Mrs. Addie Guthrie, Sayre, Oklahoma; Mrs. Sam Kendall, Cheyenne, and Mrs. Ruth Slater, Bloominggrove, Texas; 8 grand children, 6 great grandchildren a host of other relatives and friends. One son preceded her in death in infancy. Burial in Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
