She came to the United States in 1852. She was married to Henry Kliethland in 1867 and to this union were born two children who preceded her. After the death of Mr. Kliethland she married Jacob Cornels in 1870. To this union a son and a daughter were born, the daughter preceding the mother in death. The son Amil Cornesl and an adopted daughter, Mrs. Lenora Gray are left to mourn her departure. She was a member of the Presbyterian church of which she was a member at the time of her death. She was a charter member of the Rebekah lodge of Cheyenne and ever a faithful member. She resided in Cheyenne from 1901 to 1925 at which time she moved to Alva, Oklahoma. During the time she resided in Cheyenne she formed many lasting friends. It was a peculiar characteristic for her to be devoted to her firneds and her firneds were devoted to her. The remains were brought to Cheyenne for interment in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma where the seceased desired to be laid to rest. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday afternoon in the Methodist church with Rev. C.C. Wilson loca pastor, preaching. After the sermon the Rebekahs of Cheyenne concluded the funeral and burial with the regular services of that Order. Pall bearers were John B. Tracy, John Vincent, J.M. Lester, W.H. Mouser, Edgar Taylor and F.A. Beavin, Local undertaker, J.H. Tunnard was in charge. Relatives attendin the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Gray and daughtger of Alva; misses Elizabeth and Eda Flemming of Alva and Mr. and Mrs. Amil Cornels and two sons of Sayre.
