Everything possible was done to prolong his life and cure the dread diease, but it continued to eat away his vitality until the end came at his home in the northeastern part of the city on last Friday, December 11, 1925. At the time of his death he was fifty-six years of age, born in 1869. He was a member of the Methodist Church, South, at this place, having professed faith in Christ many years ago and lived faithful until the end. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and children, two brothers and two sisters, besides a host of friends. The funeral service were conducted by Rev. D.T. Knight, pastor of the Methodist church at this place after which the remains were laid to rest in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma Saturday afternoon.
