She departed this life December 22, 1932 at the Elk City hospital after a brief illness, at the age of 24 years, 7 months and 3 days. She was married March 28, 1919 to Philip Wells. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, an infant childn, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Sims of Roll, Oklahoma; four brothers, Bill, Woodrow, Joe and J.C. and Mrs Ethel Chick, a sister of Midway, Oklahoma; Cecil Sims, a brother and Mrs. Viola Conrad, a sister, both of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Others who were present at her passing were Mrs. M.e. Wells, her mother-in-law besides other relatives, and many friends. Mrs. Wells lived a righteous and upright life and was a shining example to all who knew her. She sepnt her entire life before and after marriage at Roll, Oklahoma. Interment Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma December 24, 1932. Tunnard Funeral home in charge. The baby has been taken by Mrs. Cecil Sims, a sister of Mr. Wells. She has taken the tiny baby in her home with a warm loving spot in her heart for a mother's tender and loving care. The baby is doing fine under her loving care. (Cheyenne Star December 29, 1932)
