She leaves to mourn her passing her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lucas, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lucas of Durham, and Mr. Ellis Hamson of Philadelphia, PA. Also surviving are five aunts, Mrs. Adlyne Threadgill, Evelyn Hariam and Gracie Hamson and Lila Grace and Maggie Lee Lucas; two uncles, Claud Lucas and Ellis Hamson, and a host of other relatives. (Cheyenne Star July 10, 1947) Services were held at the graveside, Rev. Brodace Elkins officiated and she was laid to rest in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Tunnard's Funeral Home.
