She moved to Kansas with her parents in 1868. At Hiatville, Kansas, in 1887, she became a member of the Christina Church, remaining faithful to this denomination until her death. She was married to Lawrence Augustas McClellan in Fort Scott, Kansas, on November 22, 1888. Ten children were born to this union all of whom are still alive. In 1901 she moved with her family to Oklahoma, living the rest of her long useful life at Wildhorse and Strong City, with the exception of one year spent in Missouri. Her departure from this life was on January 6, 1949. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Lawrence A. McClellan, Strong City, Oklahoma, her children; Lester McClellan, Strong City, Oklahoma, Fred McClellan, Mountain View, Missouri, Guy McClellan, Strong City, Oklahoma, Edna Scott, Rye, Colorado, Nellie Kiewno, Boulder, Colorad, Orson McClellan, Alamosa, Colorado, Clyde McClellan, Mooreland, Oklahoma, Claude McClellan, Sacramento, California, Lucille Smith, Fort Worth, texas, Russell McClellan, strong City, Oklahoma, one brother John A. Case, Alden Kansas, 34 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren a host of friends. Burial Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. (Cheyenne Star January 21, 1949)
