She united with the Cumberland Presbyterian church at the age of 13 years. Later she united with the Nazarene Church at Mt. Rose and later united with the Assembly of god church at Reydon, Oklahoma. She was married to John R. Taylor August 10, 1885. To this union were born 12 children, namely: Myrtle Mae Taylro Burns who preceded her mother in death; Mattie E. Taylor, preceded her mother in death; Eva A. De Crocker, Kalamazoo, mIch.; Fannie Fern Ruby, Denver, Colo.; Grace L. Thompson, Buttonwillow, Calif.; John F. Taylor, Wichita, Kansas; George W. Taylor, Paul McClarren and Verne E. Taylor, all of Reydon, Oklahoma; Verda P. Taylor, died in infancy, Wayne R. Taylor, Reydon; Agnes B. Meeks, Los Angeles, Calif. The funeral services were under the direction of the Fatheree Funeral Home of Erick and Reydon. The sermon was delivered by Rev. M.A. Hawkins, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, assisted by Rev. Blue, of Mt. Rose. Burial White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. (Cheyenne Star January 1, 1942)
