She was at her home near Cheyenne. She was married to arthur Leroy McFarlane November 29, 1911 and to this union was born three children, two of which preceded her in death. Mrs. McFarlane with Mr. McFarlane moved to Oklahoma in 1914 where she lived until her death. She was a faithful worker in the home Demonstration Club and was a member of the Church of Christ. She participated in these activities until her illness sometime ago. She was a wonderful wife and mother. To know her was to love her. She leaves to mourn her husband, A.L. McFarlane; her daughter, Connie Kendall; her son-in-law, Rex Kendall; a half brother, John K. Frei of Springfield, Mo., a half-sister, Mrs. Clarence Hodges of Kansas City, Kansas; one aunt, Mrs. Myrtle Bauer of Kansas City, Kansas; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Cora Farmer of Muskogee, and a host of freidns. Funeral services for Mrs. McFarlane were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Silent Home church with Rev. C.B. Reneau, Cheyenne officiating. Burial was in the Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. (Cheyenne Star January 23, 1947)
