She was born in Hammon, OK to Charley and Mary Etta Alles Boulware. She graduated from Hammon High School in 1933 and married Richard Woodrow Honaker on September 4, 1934. After he husband's death in 1958, she moved to Bethel, Alaska, where she developed a strong love and respect for the Eskimo people, taught in the public schools and did lay-ministry work with the Pentecostal Holiness Church on the weekends. She was a woman of deep family values who regarded her children and grandchildren with great lve. She is survived by son, Col. Richard E. Honaker M.D and his wife, Col. Benita Brothers Honaker R.M. Ret from Pretoria, South Africa; daughter, Owalah Calhoun and husband, Don of Choctaw; brother, Chuch Boulware and wife Fran of Huntington Beach, CA; sisters-in-law, Bess Bradley of Amarillo, Texas and Dorothy Boulward of Huntington Beach, CA! ; four sisters, Elizabeth Luttrell of Whichita, Kasnas, Ola Mae Thomason and husband Tommy of Yukon, OK; 9 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers. Services were held at 10 a.m., October 23, at the Alethela Temple and the Hammon Pentecostal Holiness Church at 3 p.m. with interment at Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
