His father preceded him in death, September 3, 1946. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Mrs. Alene Sizemore, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Sizemore and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Townsend and a host of other relatives. Funeral services were held in the Pentecostal Holiness church in cheyenne with Rev. A.L. Oden pastor, officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Tunnard Funeral Home. (Cheyenne Star May 8, 1947)
