Hoarce Woodard. Born March 4, 1892 near Vinita, Oklahoma, he moved with his parents to Roger Mills county and settled near Rankin, now Reydon in 1906. He had lived there since that time. On March 4, 1922 he was married to Cleo Provines. To this union seven children were born. Survivors are his wife, Cleo, of the home address, five daughters, Mrs. Bula May Sides, Durham, Mrs. Gertrude Flesher of Reydon, Mrs. Dean Robison of Lefors, Texas, Mrs. Hester Millemon, Rollo, Kansas and Mildred Clay of the home; two sons, Russell R. Clay of the home address and Kenneth Clay, Douglass, Wyoming; eleven grandchildren, two brothers, Jesse I. Clay and Elca Clay, both of Reydon; two sisters Mrs. Mettie Flick of Coffeyville, Kansas and Mrs. Manta Wheeler of Reydon; and a host of other relatives and friends. Casket bearers were N.H. Thurman, Kenneth King, Arch C. Culver, Ray Cole, Lee Townsley and Earl McCoy. He was preceded in death by his father Eleazor Clay, Sr., his mother, Elva Ayers Clay, four brothers and three sisters. An the children and grandchildren were present. Relatives from a distance attending were Russell Fisk, Edna, Kansas, Loyd Fisk, Wichita, Kansas, Mr. and Mr. O.C. Evqns, Shamrock, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Ray E. Clay, Canyon, Texas, Mrs. Dan Briggs, Shamrock, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Coym and children, Bethany, Oklahoma, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Hayes, Enid, Oklahoma, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Clay and daughter of Amarillo, Texas, Mrs. Wilma Voss and Dillard Wheeler of Pampa, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Provinews, Weatherford, Oklahoma, Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Provines, Oklahoma City, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Provines, Wichita, Kansas.
