Mrs. Pride died September 10, 1957 at the Shattuck hospital following a long illness. Born in Lenoir, North Carolina, November 11, 1891, she was married to G.W. Pride at Little Rock, Arkansas, September 5, 1921. They came to western Oklahoma in 1923, settling in the Reydon community where he is auditor of the Rock Island railroad company. A member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Reydon, and a past worth matron, she was a member of the Church of Christ. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of the home address, two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Baker, Durham, and Mrs. Lou Lillianthal, Los Angeles, California; four brothers, Gaither Parsons, Roswell, New Mexico; Claud Parsons, Fontana, Colorado, Jenning Parsons, Reydon; and Alonzo Parsons, Whittier, California. Pall bearers were Mike Wood, Nick Thurman, Boyd Fair, Eddie Bessire, Kenneth King and Ray Cole. Committal was in White Rose cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
