Mr. Isch came to western Oklahoma in November 1909 and settled in the Dempsey community. He moved to Reydon in 1926 where the family has lived since. He was born January 31, 1889 at Pleasant Hope, Missouri. On October 1, 1921 he was united in marriage to Stella Mong who preceded him in death in 1924. He was united in marriage to Ruby Wood on June 1, 1926. He is survived by his wife, Ruby of the home address, four daughters, Mrs. Bufford Daugherty of Hooker, Mrs. Jack Trammell of Reydon, Mrs. Ronal Evans, Allison, Texas, and Mrs. Elsie Leonard of Reydon, also one son, Lester of the home address; two sisters, Mrs. Maudie Henson of Grimes and Mrs. Ethel Reynolds of Sayre; 3 brothers, Charley of Mesa, Arizona, Herman of Reydon, and Clyde of Grimes. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him very much. His father, mother, three brothers, one sister, and an infant daughter preceded him in death. He was a true and devoted husband and father and always willing to assist others any time he could. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Horace Woodard on Saturday, October 15, 1955, at the Reydon School auditorium. Pall bearers were Earl Pennington, Bernice Clift, Elzie McEntire, Wayne McColgin, Leo Bessire and Leonard Burns, Flower bearers were classmates of Lester Isch. Interment was in the Dempsey Cemetery, Dempsey, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
