James Logan Scrivner, Jr., was born November 26, 1927 at Reydon, Oklahoma, and passed away May 4, 1957 at the age of 29 years, 5 months and 8 days. He was educated in the Reydon public schools and became a member of the Baptist church at an early age. On January 12, 1951, he was united in marriage to Miss Thelma Sadler, and to this union was born three children, Jackie, age 4, Wilma Joe, age 2, and Patricia Elaine, age 7 months. He had spent 8 years in the Armed Forces, and at the time of his death was stationed at Headquarters, Technical Training Air Force, at Gulfport, Mississippi. He was loved by all who knew him. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and three daughters, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Scrivner, Sr., Reydon; two sisters, Georgie Sadler of Pampa, Texas, and Bonnie Hillin of Westover AFB, Massachusetts, two brothers, Jess and John of Reydon, and a host of friends and other relatives.
