Supply, Oklahoma. He was the son of George E. and Drusilla Mae Shoop. On September 19, 1915, he was married in Kansas to Mattie E. Ream. Surviving are his wife, Cheyenne, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Cook of Bonn, Germany and Mrs. Beulah Stonecipher of Delhi, Oklahoma; three sons, Jay O. of Cheyenne, John F. of Borger, Texas, and Walter S. of Shreveport, Lousiana, also nine grandchildren. Graveside services were conducted by Rev. J.F. Wilkerson Sunday, July 9, 1955. Burial was in Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
