She departed this life November 17, 1956, at Cheyenne, Oklahoma, at the age of 13 years, 6 months and 9 days. Her mother, Betty Jo Mitchell Baker, preceded her in death by 3 months and 9 days. She attended school at Crawford for 7 years, and was in the 8th grade at Durham at the time of her passing. She was an ideal school mate, and this wourld would be a more wonderful place to live if each of us could have her friendly smile and marvelous personality. She was loved by all who knew her. She attended church at the Crawford Baptist church and trusted in Christ and prayer during her illness. She leaves to mourn her passing her father, Guy Baker of Durham, one brother, Guy Clark, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Baker of Durham and Mr. and Mrs. James L. Mitchell of Hobart, seven aunts and uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends. Committal in Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
