In 1900 he moved with his parents to Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. In 1912 he was married to Mabel Harrison. To this union five children were born two of whom preceded the father in death. Mr. McCaskill died from an accident received while working on a county road October 29, 1957. Survivvors are his wife and his father E.A. McCaskill of Cheyenne, one son, J.B. McCaskill, Mt. Hope, Kansas, a daughter, Mrs. Glen Kitchin, Cheverly, Md., another daughter, Mrs. Raymond Macklin, Mt. Hope, Kansas, two brothers, Lawrence of Cheyenne and Urey of Oklahoma City, also five sisters, Mrs. Henry Harrison, Cheyenne, Mrs. Jack Shirley, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Frank Porterfield, Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Bill Gray, San Mateo, California, and Mrs. Harry Pearl, Modesto, California, twelve grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. McCaskill will be held Thursday afternoon, October, 31, 1957 at 3:00 p.m., at the Baptist Church in Cheyenne. Burial at Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
