Mr. Reynolds carried the mail at Durham for 25 years, retiring two years ago. He moved to Elk City at that time where he had since made his home. McReynolds was born August 9, 1892, at Eldorado, and passed away Monday, July 23, 1956, at the University hospital in Oklahoma City, having been ill since April. He was a member of the First Baptist church, the IOOF, American Legion post, and Rural Letter Caarrier Association. He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Lois Alexander, Marion, Oregon; Miss Carol McReynolds, Fort Worth, Texas; Mrs. Beatrice Keeling, Tulsa; Mrs. Jeanette Flowers, Weatherford; and Mrs. Nina Dugger, Broken Arrow; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Hatley of Durham; one brother, S.L. McReynolds of Stillwater, and nine grandchildren. Burial was in the Red Hill cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
