She was the daughter of the late Ben and Kitty Reed of Nocoma, Texas. She joined the Baptist church when a young woman. She was married to Mr. V.C. Walker on April 12, 1931. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, V.C. Walker of Crawford, six step-children, Mrs. Eben Allen of Leedey, Mrs. Earl Dean of Concord, California, Wilson Walker of Sayre, Henry Walker of Strong City, Calvin Walker of Jones, Oklahoma and Mrs. Herman Hester of Concord, Califnrnia, fifteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, one brother, Cash Reed of Nocoma, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Ervie Field, of Mobettie, Texas, Mrs. Ollie Skeen, Nocona, and Mrs. Della Dix, of Nocoma, a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was a good step-mother and neighbor, and was loved by all who knew her. Rev. A.L. Martin conducted funeral services with Scroggins Funeral Home in charge.
