She has been a member of the Baptist church since 1898. July 16, 1902, Laura Belle Barber and William H. Pankey were united in marriage, and to this union one son was born. Immediately after their marriage they moved to Old Day County near Roll where they homesteaded, living there until moving to Cheyenne in 1923 where they have made their home for the past 31 years. Mrs. Pankey was an active member in her church, W.M.U., the Cheyenne Garrden Club, and a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a devoted wife and mother, her kindness and thoughtfulness of friends and neighbors will long be remembered. Survivors are her husband, William H. Pankey of the home address, her son, Lavon Pankey, Wichita, Kansas, one brother, Norman Barber, Brooksfield, MO., two grandchildren, Vesta Jean Pankey Ewing and Riley Lee Pankey, two great grandchildren, Mrak and Vickey, all of Wichita, Kasn., other relatives and a host of friends. Burial in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
