On the 7th day of November, 1941, the deceased was united in marriage of Dunreath Walton Harris, at Taloga, Oklahoma. He became a member of the Baptist Church of hammon, Oklahoma in 1946. After moving to Cheyenne he transferred his membership here, and served the local church faithfully, including a year in which he served as Sunday School Superintendant. Marquis was preceded in death by his infant daughtrer, Karen Sue, and is survived by his wife, Dunreath, two children, Franklin and Dunnie Lou, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Jodie S. Moad, all of Cheyenne, his brothers, Quentin of Sayre and Joe Frank of Hammon, his sister, Mrs. Anna Mae Zollner of Fort Morgan, Colorado, and a great number of relatives and friends. To this associates, Marquis Moad was generous, kindly and gracious; to his family and his loved ones, he was faithful, sincere and ever devoted. Interment was at the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
