Williams were held Wednesday afternoon in the Methodist church of Cheyenne, with Rev. Gerald Main officiating. Committal was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Scroggins Funeral Home. Mr. Williams died Monday, December 3, 1956 after an illness of several months. He is survived by his wife of the home address, three daughters, and four sons. They are Willa Mae Mortensen, Provo, Utah; Wynne Maurizio, Van Nuys, California; and Oma lucille Smith, Tulsa; Glen of Cheyenne, Elbert of Guthrie, Wallace of Grand Prairie, Texas, and John M. of Los Angeles, California. Mr. Williams was born at Grandbury, Texas in 1887. He came to Cheyenne in 1893. On June 7, 1907 he was married to Gertrude McGhee, also of Cheyenne.
