Holland was born near Sparta, Tennessee, September 18, 1882, the son of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Holland. He departed this life July 5, 1957, at Crawford, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage on February 19, 1910, to Josephine Pearl Hall, in New Mexico. To this union two children were born, Nennetta and Veda Pear. His wife preceded him in death November 16, 1926, at Gainesville, Texas. Mr. Holland was converted in early manhood and was a member of the Methodist church for over fifty years. He leaves to mourn his passing his two daughters, Nannetta Holt of Crawford and Veda Pearl Barton of Cheyenne; one brother, Rev. Clois Holland of Nash, Oklahoma; one sister, Mildred Miller of Sayre; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was a devoted father and a friend to all who knew him. Funeral services were held at Crawford July 7, 1957, burial Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins Funeral Home in charge. Rev. A.L. Martin and Rev.
