Dooty in Cheyenne Monday February 2, 1953 were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cheyenne Church of Christ. She was born September 6, 1869 in Garrett County, KY and came to western Oklahoma in 1909 from Gelena, Kansas and settled in the Crawford community. She was a long-time member of the Church of Christ. She was married to William G. Muncy on December 25, 1888 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mirtie Condo of Crawford; Mrs. Bessie Stine, Clinton, Mrs. Fern Dooty of Cheyenne and Mrs. Evelyn Gibbens of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two sons, Clyde and Cleo Muncy, both of Gridley, Caifornia; one brother, C.B. Harris of Modesto, California and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Davis of Crawford; 10 grandchildren. Wayne Nations, minister and the Rev. Edward Ditterline officiated. Burial was in the Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with the Scroggins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, oK
