She passed away Mary 13, 1957, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hershell Higgins, Amarillo, Texas, at the age of one year, three months and one day. Peggy leaves to mourn her passing her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Hershell Higgins, two sisters, Sandra Sue and Judy, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Higgins and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Cockrell, all of Durham, 3 aunts, Wanda Cockrell of Durham, Mrs. Juanita Marie Pierce, Reydon, and Mrs. Nevadean Parman, Grimes, five uncles, Alvin Higgins of Durham, Leo Cockrell of Almagordo, New Mexico, Dale Cockrell of Durham, Donald Cockrell, Goodwell, Oklahoma, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in the Durham Church of Christ. Interment was in Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the directionof Scroggins Funeral Home.
