Services were Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Reydon community building with Rev. Billy Covey, Sweetwater and Rev. Lawrence Oxford, Sayre, officiating. Born December 24, 1822 at Bixby he was married August 13, 1956 to Ruby Wood, Lovington, New Mexico. He came to Roger mills County in 1956 from New Mexico where he had resided since. He was a member of the Assembly of God church and a World War II Veteran serving in the Navy. Survivors are his wife, Ruby of the home; three step daughters, Mrs. Luella Trammell, Reydon, Opal Evans, Canadian, Texas, Elsie Leonard, Reydon; one step son, Lester Isch of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Charlie Baker of Grimes and Willie Baker of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Waddell, Bethany, Mrs. Mary Henley, Wilder, Idaho. Interment will be in the Dempsey cemetery, Dempsey, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Scoggins and son funeral home, Cheyenne. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
